Why Train With Online-EPC-Course?

You have probably come to this site as you are interested in becoming a Domestic Energy Assessor. You have probably also conducted some research into the role of the DEA and whether or not it is the right option for you. You have probably not made a decision on whether you want to go to a training company and do a one week training course or completed a distance learning course around your current job. These are decisions you will have to make and here at Online-EPC-Course we like to offer you as much advice as possible so you can make the right decision for yourself.

EPC Courses: Why Choose A Distance Learning Course?

Distance learning is probably the best way to train if you are currently employed. It will give you the time you need to study and train at your own pace. You will be able to complete the course round your current commitments and when you are qualified you will also be able to start working round your current job role as well. An EPC usually takes around 1 hour to complete so you would easily be able to carry out an EPC on a weekend if you currently work a Monday to Friday job.

What To Consider.

A distance learning course will be exactly the same as studying at a training centre. The only difference is in a training centre you will have a face to face tutor. This can be good as if you are going through a training manual and you do not understand something you will be able to raise your hand and ask a question. The question you need to ask yourself is; ‘Do I like asking questions in a room full of other students?’ The answer to that depends on you, but most people do not like asking questions that they think everyone else knows the answer to. The distance learning course is ideal for people who do not like asking questions in a room full of other students. While studying your training manual in the comfort of your own home and you do not understand something, you can email your tutor direct and get an answer. At a training centre you have 3 days intensive training. When it’s gone it’s gone. By distance learning you have a tutor every step of the way. Distance learning puts you in control, not the training centre!
